Welcome to my stamp collecting pages, I hope you find the site interesting and useful. I am still going through my accumulation/collection and working on cataloging and mounting my stuff.
I have recently re-designed the site in the hopes of streamlining the look, and to just freshen it up a bit. I hope you like it. As always questions and comments are welcome. Just drop me an email.
I ask that you support Alyssah Alcala and her QE II exhibit, you can check her site out by going to my links section and looking for it under the General Links category. I have published another article on Stamporama, you can check out what I have written for Stamporama by clicking here and searching for Alyn. I also semi-regularly wrote blogs at MyPhilately, unfortunately on December 14, 2011 it appears that MP has closed their doors for good. I am trying to rebuild the posts and they can be read on my article page here.
Another project I am working on is a series of presentations/pages on the history of Canada through postage stamps. My hope is that this will become a series and will be used by
students and educators alike.
My collecting interests are world wide, with an affinity for Canada, Great Britain and Germany. From a topical standpoint I enjoy ships on stamps, and art stamps. How
else can you own the Queen Mary or the Mona Lisa.
I am a member of the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada (RPSC), the British North America Philatelic Society (BNAPS), American Philatelic Society (APS), International Society of
Worldwide Stamp Collectors (ISWSC), the Ships on Stamps Unit of the American Topical Association and the the American Topical Association.
